HYOSUNG Tuning Delphi MT05.2

Hyosung GD 250R

Are you searching for a way to start tuning your Hyosung with the Delphi MT05 ecu, but just don’t know where to begin?
Tuniverse is the answer!

Who is Tuniverse ?

Tuniverse was born from years of experience in Motorsport and Motorcycles racing and engine control unit remap.
Our mission is empowering the next generation of motorcycle tuners by giving them both tools and knowledge to tune their own Hyosung with ecu Delphi MT05 with confidence.

We provide for a complete remap solution: hardware, software and expert support at an affordable pricing.
At Tuniverse, we do not just sell tuning products, we build a community of self-reliant, skilled riders and tuners ready to take control of their performance.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tuner, we guide you step by step through the process of modifying the ecu of your Hyosung safely and effectively.

Delphi MT05 ECU tuning Solutions

We specialize in tuning solutions for Delphi MT05 and MT05.2 ECUs.

To meet the needs of riders and tuning levels, we offer 4 comprehensive packages, ranging from the Basic package for all stock motorcycles to the Platinum package, designed for motorcycles with significant mechanical modifications (ex.: air filter, exhaust, engine displacement, etc).

Each package includes the essential chiptuning tools (hardware and software) to get started, along with dedicated expert remapping support (via email, microsoft teams and whatsapp) to guide you step by step.

We also provide, if required by the customer, the template (*) containing the engine maps of the bike, to adjust them autonomously.

(*)What is a TEMPLATE? The template definition tells the tuning software how to explain each byte in a the file coming from your ecu’s bike. In simple terms, the definition explains that “the byte at position X in the original file should be multiplied, divided, or adjusted by values W, Y, and Z to produce a real-world value.”
ECU tuning software uses this information to convert raw binary data into a format that is meaningful and easy to understand for the user.

Whether you are just starting out or pushing your bike to the limit, Tuniverse has the right setup for you!

What is a Stage 1 tuned file ?

Stage 1 refers to the initial level of performance enhancement for a vehicle.
It typically includes basic, non-intrusive modifications, that improve power and efficiency without affecting reliability or requesting significant mechanical alterations.

Stage1 is done for a full stock motorcycle.
When the customer changes, for example, air filter and exhaust, it is imperative a Stage 2 tuned file to adapt the ecu and engine parameters to the
new mechanical modifications.

Here below you can see an example of a dyno chart performed on a Hyosung GT 250R: in blue, the stock power; in orange, the Stage 1 power applied.

Original values :
29,4 cv / 21,5 kW at 10.200 rpm

Stage 1 modified file :
30,7 cv / 22,5 kW at 10.200 rpm

Which engine maps can be modified to achieve satisfying results?

For a Stage 1 tuned file, the following maps can be modified:

  • Fuel Quantity Maps: Adjusted to optimize injector pulse width across varying engine speeds and loads
  • Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) / Lambda Maps: Refined target lambda values to achieve optimal combustion efficiency under different operating conditions
  • High Load Fuel Corrections: Modified fuel delivery based on throttle position to ensure proper enrichment under high load scenarios
  • Ignition Timing Maps: Calibrated ignition advance at wide-open throttle (WOT), mid-load, and low-load regions to enhance torque output and throttle responsiveness while maintaining knock resistance
  • Air/Fuel Mixture Maps: Fine-tuned the ratio of air to fuel beyond basic AFR targets, taking into account volumetric efficiency and transient conditions
  • Rev Limiters: Raised or adjusted to allow for a broader usable RPM range, where mechanically safe
