LEONART Motorcycles Tuning Delphi MT05.2

Are you searching for a way to start tuning your Leonart with the Delphi MT05 ecu, but just don’t know where to begin?
Tuniverse is the answer!

Who is Tuniverse ?

Tuniverse was born from years of experience in Motorsport and Motorcycles racing and engine control unit remap.
Our mission is empowering the next generation of motorcycle tuners by giving them both tools and knowledge to tune their own Leonart with ecu Delphi MT05 with confidence.

We provide for a complete remap solution: hardware, software and expert support at an affordable pricing.
At Tuniverse, we do not just sell tuning products, we build a community of self-reliant, skilled riders and tuners ready to take control of their performance.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tuner, we guide you step by step through the process of modifying the ecu of your Leonart safely and effectively.

Delphi MT05 ECU tuning Solutions

We specialize in tuning solutions for Delphi MT05 and MT05.2 ECUs.

To meet the needs of riders and tuning levels, we offer 4 comprehensive packages, ranging from the Basic package for all stock motorcycles to the Platinum package, designed for motorcycles with significant mechanical modifications (ex.: air filter, exhaust, engine displacement, etc).

Each package includes the essential chiptuning tools (hardware and software) to get started, along with dedicated expert remapping support (via email, microsoft teams and whatsapp) to guide you step by step.

We also provide, if required by the customer, the template (*) containing the engine maps of the bike, to adjust them autonomously.

(*)What is a TEMPLATE? The template definition tells the tuning software how to explain each byte in a the file coming from your ecu’s bike. In simple terms, the definition explains that “the byte at position X in the original file should be multiplied, divided, or adjusted by values W, Y, and Z to produce a real-world value.”
ECU tuning software uses this information to convert raw binary data into a format that is meaningful and easy to understand for the user.

Whether you are just starting out or pushing your bike to the limit, Tuniverse has the right setup for you!

What is a Stage 1 tuned file ?

Stage 1 refers to the first level of performance upgrade applied to a vehicle.
It usually involves basic, non-invasive modifications that enhance power and efficiency without compromising reliability or requiring major mechanical changes.

Stage1 is done for a full stock motorcycle.
When the customer changes, for example, air filter and exhaust, it is imperative a Stage 2 tuned file to adapt the ecu and engine parameters to the
new mechanical modifications.

Here below you can see an example of a dyno chart performed on a Leonart Daytona 125: in blue, the stock power; in orange, the Stage 1 power applied.

Original values :
12,5 cv – 9,4 kW – 10.000 rpm

Stage 1 modified file :
13,8 cv – 10,1 kW – 9.500 rpm

What did we achieve with the Stage 1 modification on the Leonart Daytona 125?

This ECU tuning was carried out on a 125cc motorcycle to unlock its full potential while maintaining reliability.

By working on all the fuel, ignition and air mass maps, we improved throttle response, mid range torque, and top end power.
This setup is perfect for riders who seek for great performance without making major mechanical changes, and it can be applied for both street use and light track days.

Which specific engine maps did we work on to achieve these results after the Stage 1 modification?

Our tuner wanted a motorcycle with better low-end responsiveness and stronger high-end performance, suitable for both city riding and twisty roads outside urban areas.

To be more specific and technical, for a Stage 1 tuned file on a completely stock motorcycle, we modified the following maps:

  • Fuel Quantity Maps: Optimized to fine-tune injector pulse duration across a range of engine speeds and load conditions
  • Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) / Lambda Maps: Revised target lambda values to maximize combustion efficiency under varying operational states
  • High Load Fuel Adjustments: Altered fuel delivery in response to throttle input to ensure adequate enrichment during high-demand scenarios
  • Ignition Timing Maps: Adjusted spark advance across wide-open throttle (WOT), mid-load, and low-load regions to boost torque and throttle response while maintaining detonation resistance
  • Air/Fuel Blending Maps: Precisely calibrated air-to-fuel ratios beyond standard AFR goals, factoring in volumetric efficiency and dynamic engine conditions
  • Rev Limiters: no modifications applied
